Turn off the main A19 York to Thirsk road ,heading for Newton on Ouse then Linton on Ouse.

We are sited on a working Lock on the river Ouse which in the summer months has a constant flow of passing boats of various shapes and sizes going through the Lock, so there is always something to see for all the family.The Weir and salmon leap are also a big attraction with visitors.

Linton Lock is a conservation site so it has all the charm of a natural but very well kept site, being run as a family business it is not at all commercialized.

On the campsite we cater for all types of campers with separate sites for tents and touring caravans,electric hook-ups are available and we have a hard standing area with hook-up for the very large motorhomes. We also have a seasonal caravan site for 15 units in a separate area. We have also for holiday lets two static caravans .

Please note that it is essential to book if you are thinking of camping in the school holidays or at Bank Holiday Weekends.
